Why Thomas?

Thomas A Kempis (died 25 July, 1471) lived in very similar times to us, a period of innovation and experimentation with new art forms (Early Renaissance), and it might be profitable to read him with new media eyes. Lets give it a shot . . shall we?
I have some thoughts on this that i want to write up soon, but i am really too busy right now, with moving my family to London, but in a few weeks i should have time.

I have chosen Thomas A Kempis's book,"Imitation of Christ" as a base for our thinking.
Why?
I'll tell you why later.
