"What is the ideal size of a congregation? 5,000? 500? Well, why not fifty-or a dozen-or even five? . . . Jesus said "Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I . . ." As we face the future and seek to find the shape of the emerging church, let us bear in mind that quantity does not guarantee quality."

Logistics aside, if everyone is there for the right reasons then whatever size your congregation is... that's the right size for you. Its the quality that matters, not the quantity.
Loving the blog. Find inspiration everyday. Peace.

Thanks for doing this blog, Andrew. It is so encouraging and inspiring. I found a used copy of this book on Amazon and ordered it. Can't wait to get it and read it!

great stuff...it's so true...
i think that the older regime see quantity and assume quality...
some of the younger regime see quantity and instantly hate it (sometimes I too am guilty of this).
