Our building is quite cool but it is still a pain in the ass. I think this is a great idea.
However the landscape is full of iconic religious buildings - I really like the idea of using Cathedrals for what they were intended (rather than tourist traps) and worshipping there. Anyone care to join me for church in St Pauls Cathedral?

It's a really wonderful idea. But a more wonderful idea is that the church, the disciples of Jesus, shares everything, and what is mine is also my brother's and sister's.
But perhaps this is the thought that the quote is expressing?
God bless.

Love the sentiment but in our culture... one that values permanency... is it possible?
Got the book from Amazon last night and can't put it down... its yellowed but otherwise in sweet condition. Will keep popping by - love this blog Andrew - keep going, bro!

This makes a lot of sense to me. Take a book club or prayer group as an example, do they need a permanent structure of their own in order to meet? NO, in fact sometimes the change of scenery or place affects the point of the conversation.

We shouldn't have to imagine a world where the church "owns" nothing. When did we replace the values and models set up by the early church with this system of ownership? Seriously. People can't even sustain a mustard seed of faith, and yet they go to great lengths to establish mega supersized McChurches and Cathedrals. Talk about misplaced priorities!
