How about some great stuff from Tony Jones' "The Sacred Way". He has some really great quotes from Thomas A'kempis (Spelling?) in addition to many other encouraging stories. Adele

Have been wrestling recently with issues raised in 'So You Don't Want to Go to Church Anymore' by Jake Colsen and 'Escaping the Matrix' (as well as 'Seeing Is Believing') by Greg Boyd. The former as it comes against my need to perform: 'It's not about working hard, big ministries or new buildings. It's about a life you can see, taste and touch; something you can frolic in every day....'
The latter as Boyd provides some of the most concrete and helpful means by which to battle the flesh and to take captive our thoughts.
